Affiliate Program Terms

1. Program Overview

The EdgeFox Affiliate Program allows content creators, sports betting analysts, and other partners ("Affiliates") to earn commissions by referring new paying subscribers to the EdgeFox platform. These Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern participation in the program and are incorporated into, and subject to, the EdgeFox Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Affiliate Program, you must:

Have an active EdgeFox account in good standing
Apply and receive written approval from EdgeFox
Have an authentic online presence (website, YouTube channel, podcast, social media account, etc.)
Not be a direct competitor offering substantially similar services
Comply with all applicable laws regarding advertising disclosures (including CRTC guidelines in Canada and FTC guidelines if targeting US audiences)

EdgeFox reserves the right to approve or reject any affiliate application at its sole discretion.

3. Affiliate Links and Tracking

Upon approval, you will receive:

A unique affiliate link (e.g., edgefox.io/?ref=your_slug)
Access to a dashboard showing clicks, signups, and commissions
Marketing materials (banners, copy, screenshots) for approved use

Referrals are tracked via cookies with a 30-day attribution window. If a referred user signs up within 30 days of clicking your link, the referral is attributed to you.

4. Commission Structure

4.1 Standard Commission

Affiliates earn a recurring commission of 25% of net subscription revenue for each referred subscriber, for as long as the subscriber remains active.

Commissions on annual plans are paid in full upon receipt of the subscriber's annual payment.

4.2 Promo Codes

Affiliates may be provided with a promo code (e.g., BETA50) to offer discounts to referred users. The commission is calculated on the discounted price actually paid.

4.3 Exclusions

No commission is earned on:

Subscription fees that are refunded
Free plan users
Your own subscriptions
Subscriptions from users you are directly employed by

5. Payment

Commissions are paid monthly, within 15 business days after the end of each calendar month
Minimum payout threshold: $50 USD. Amounts below the threshold roll over to the next month
Payment is made via Interac e-Transfer (Canada), PayPal, or wire transfer (international)
You are responsible for all applicable taxes on affiliate income. EdgeFox will issue applicable tax documentation as required by law
Commissions are forfeited if your account is terminated for cause

6. Marketing and Disclosure Requirements

6.1 Mandatory Disclosure

You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with EdgeFox in all promotional content, in compliance with applicable advertising standards. Acceptable disclosures include:

"This is a paid partnership with EdgeFox"
"#ad" or "#sponsored" (for social media)
"I earn a commission if you subscribe using my link"

Failure to disclose may result in immediate termination from the program.

6.2 Approved Content

You may:

Create honest reviews and tutorials of EdgeFox
Share your own EdgeFox analytics and results
Use EdgeFox-provided marketing materials
Describe EdgeFox features accurately based on your experience

6.3 Prohibited Content

You may not:

Make false or misleading claims about EdgeFox or its results
Guarantee betting profits to your audience
Use spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive tactics to drive referrals
Bid on EdgeFox brand keywords in paid search advertising without prior written approval
Create fake reviews or incentivized reviews that do not reflect genuine experience
Promote EdgeFox to audiences where sports betting is illegal

6.4 Responsible Gambling

All affiliate content must include or link to responsible gambling resources. You may not target vulnerable individuals or promote irresponsible gambling behavior.

7. Intellectual Property

EdgeFox grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use EdgeFox's name, logo, and approved marketing materials solely for the purpose of promoting the Affiliate Program. This license is revocable at any time. You may not alter or misrepresent EdgeFox branding.

8. Program Changes and Termination

8.1 Changes

EdgeFox may modify commission rates or program terms with 30 days' written notice to active affiliates. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of new terms.

8.2 Termination by You

You may leave the program at any time by notifying us at [email protected]. Earned and unpaid commissions will be paid at the next scheduled payment date.

8.3 Termination by EdgeFox

We may terminate your affiliate account immediately and forfeit unpaid commissions if you:

Violate these Affiliate Terms or the EdgeFox Terms of Service
Engage in fraudulent activity (e.g., self-referrals, fake accounts)
Make false or misleading claims about EdgeFox
Fail to comply with disclosure requirements

9. Fraud Prevention

EdgeFox actively monitors for affiliate fraud, including:

Self-referrals (referring yourself or immediate family)
Cookie stuffing or other technical manipulation
Incentivized signups that do not represent genuine interest
Fake account creation

Fraudulent activity will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of all commissions.

10. Relationship of Parties

Affiliates are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of EdgeFox. You have no authority to bind EdgeFox to any agreement or obligation.

11. Governing Law

These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada.
